The Maintenance Attendant at Woodward Camp is an integral part of the camper's experience. They will be responsible for keeping Woodward's renowned facilities operating at a high level. The Maintenance Attendant is responsible for performing a variety of tasks across the property ensuring the campus remains clean, safe, functional, and welcoming for our guests. These vital tasks may include landscaping, cleaning, removing trash, and performing maintenance on a wide array of features at our facilities. The Maintenance Attendant should be eager to learn new skills, able to work in an outside environment, and work in a team setting.

Requirements: ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support daily maintenance and perform weekly and monthly checks for all on-site properties
- Perform routine maintenance, preventive maintenance, and corrective maintenance
- Diagnose and repair broken assets
- Painting
- Groundskeeping
- Keep detailed records for all projects and maintenance schedules
- Assist with guest requests and needs in a timely manner
- Maintain a record of performed maintenance tasks
- Utilize a wide array of hand and power tools under proper supervision/operating procedures
- Maintain all safety standards and operating procedures.
- Other Duties as Assigned
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE/SPECIAL SKILLS:
- General experience with maintenance repairs and troubleshooting
- General experience with lawn care maintenance
- Certified with applicable equipment
- Must be comfortable working at heights and confined spaces
- Ability to collaborate well across functions and departments, to work as part of a team.
- Health and Safety Certifications
- Ability to project manage and prioritize multiple tasks at the same time
- Strong interpersonal skills. Able to interact effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization.
BASIC SCHEDULE/REQUIREMENTS:
- As a requirement of this position, pre-hire criminal history clearances are collected from the Pennsylvania State Police (PATCH) system, child abuse clearances are obtained through the Department of Public Welfare, and federal history is taken through FBI fingerprint screening.
- Reliable transportation required
- Physical Capabilities: bend, twist, push, pull, stand, lift 50 lbs.
- Must be comfortable working in an outdoor and indoor all-season environment
- Adhere to all workplace safety practices, expectations, and guidelines
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, evenings year-round:
- On-site work attendance at Woodward PA :Summer Sessions (June 9th- August 24th)
- Preferred minimum 6-week commitmentwithin summer camp season
