Job Description:
As a Facilities Coordinator at Mytech, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office space. You will be responsible for a comprehensive range of janitorial and maintenance tasks, ensuring a safe, clean, and well-functioning work environment for our team.
Key Responsibilities:
Janitorial and Cleaning:
- Follow and maintain a proactive cleaning and maintenance schedule
- Ensure cleanliness of all common areas in the office.
- Perform cleaning tasks in assigned areas inside and outside the office building. This includes but is not limited to sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, recycling, window washing, and other general cleaning as requested.
Maintenance and Facilities
- Conduct regular inspections and routine maintenance of office equipment, HVAC systems, lighting, and other equipment to ensure proper functionality.
- Observe and report the need for repairs to facilities, furniture, fixtures, and other relevant areas, ensuring a safe and functional work environment.
- Conduct painting tasks as needed to maintain the appearance of the office space.
- Engage in seasonal activities, including but not limited to lawn care and snow removal, and maintaining the exterior of the office building.
- Manage relationships with external vendors for maintenance services, repairs, and supplies. Obtain quotes and negotiate contracts when necessary.
- Maintenance and turnover cleaning of townhome for visiting out of town guests.
Qualifications:
- Janitorial and general maintenance experience required.
- Ability to perform general Maintenance and repairs required
- Strong attention to detail
- Dependability and common sense, along with the ability to organize a daily cleaning schedule to efficiently complete assigned tasks.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and work within standard policies and procedures, with limited direct supervision.
