Maintenance Analyst - Ft. Jackson

Essential Functions:

• Shall perform command level data interpretation, data manipulation, and trend analysis within the G4 operational logistical environment (Maintenance, Supply, Transportation) utilizing systems and provide documentation and visualization of such interpretations and analyses to the command in easy to comprehend executive summaries, Power Point presentations, white papers, dashboards, data visualizations, etc.
• Shall collect data on a daily basis, perform trend analysis on a weekly basis, and provide an illustration of trends on a monthly basis. Such data and trend analysis shall be for a variety of G4 operational aspects including, but not limited to: work order performance status, manpower, financial, supply readiness, equipment readiness reports, requisition turnaround time, etc.
• Shall provide customer assistance on logistics operations. Customer assistance includes responding to requests and questions, as well as providing adhoc training when required.
• Perform cost benefit analyses of a variety of operational aspects (manpower, turnaround time, etc.) on an as needed basis. Sporadic in nature, not regular and recurring.
• Perform calculations utilizing automated analytics supporting direct man-hours, backlog, utilization rates, and work order status associated with work orders for all equipment in the Army inventory and present calculations in a format easily understood by senior leaders.
• Develop life cycle cost analysis of projects within the command or perform cost benefit or economic evaluations of current or projected command programs. Examples include an analysis of the forklift lifecycle, cost to replace vs. cost to repair; an analysis of how often jacks are replaced to assist in future years budgetary planning.

Other Requirements:

• Shall have a minimum of five (5) years’ operational level experience with Army/DoD maintenance background sourcing and procurement, using Army automated logistical systems (GCSS-A or other DoD equivalent) and Army automated web-based systems, performing data and trend analysis.
• Shall have experience in program development (XML, Javascript, ETL frameworks, etc.), Microsoft experienced Data Analyst Associate in Microsoft Power BI and Microsoft Office, all shall be required by the start of full performance..
