Our client is looking to hire a Maintenance Admin/Clerk in the city of Paramount, CA. This is a contract to hire opportunity for our client to join our Maintenance department!
Schedule: Monday- Friday; 5am-1:30pm + Overtime
Job Overview:
As a Maintenance Facilities Clerk, you will play a crucial role in supporting the efficient operation of the maintenance and facilities department. This position involves a combination of administrative duties, inventory management, and coordination to ensure that the facilities and equipment are well-maintained.
Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative assistance to the maintenance and facilities department, including managing schedules, maintaining records, and preparing documentation.
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of reports, work orders, and other relevant documentation.
- Maintain an organized inventory of maintenance and facilities supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels.
- Collaborate with vendors to order necessary materials and track deliveries.
- Receive and process maintenance work orders, distributing them to the appropriate personnel.
- Follow up on work orders to ensure timely completion.
- Track the usage and maintenance schedules of equipment and tools used by the maintenance team.
- Collaborate with various departments to address facility-related issues and ensure a safe and well-maintained working environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in facilities management or related field is a plus.
- Previous experience in an administrative or facilities support role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.50 - $18.50 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
