Maintenace Worker (Historic Preservation)

These positions may be filled for a six-month seasonal period, but can vary due to weather conditions, project needs, or funding. Anticipated Entry on Duty: April-May 2024.
A selectee receiving a first appointment to the Federal Government (Civil Service) is entitled only to the lowest step of the grade for which selected. 1. Ability to do the work of a Maintenance Worker (Historic Preservation) without more than normal supervision (SCREEN OUT)
2. Technical Practices (theoretical precise, artistic)
3. Ability to interpret instructions, specifications, etc.
4. Ability to safely use and maintain tools and equipment
5. Knowledge of materials.
6. Use of Measuring Instruments
7. Knowledge of equipment, assembly, installation, repair, etc
