Maintenace Technician

Our management company is looking for a maintenance technician to perform routine maintenance and day to day repairs on its common areas as well as occupied and vacated units. The ideal candidate will be one who can work independently to meet set maintenance and building upkeep expectations. We’re looking for a maintenance technician who will exceed tenant expectations, ensuring that our beloved community is always in good condition and maintained properly.

Job Responsibilities

• Working with the property manager to set a routine maintenance schedule.
• Performing routine maintenance in accordance with the schedule on common areas and apartments.
• Ensuring maintenance vendors are in place as needed and performing according to expectations.
• Collecting bids and contracts for maintenance and grounds vendors and making vendor recommendations.
• Making cosmetic and functional repairs to common areas and apartment units.

Hours: Full Time position. Unit turnovers may result in some overtime or additional hours as needed (demand will generally be near month end). For Full-Time consideration, grounds maintenance (mowing, snow removal, landscape upkeep, etc.) would be considered in-scope.

Schedule: 5 days per week expected. Hours are 9a-5p with some on call responsibilities after hours.
