Responsibilities:
- Perform general maintenance person duties including repairs, maintenance, and installations.
- Conduct routine inspections of buildings and equipment to identify any issues or potential problems.
- Respond to work orders and prioritize tasks based on urgency and importance.
- Repair and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and drains.
- Troubleshoot and repair HVAC/R systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Design and implement solutions for various property maintenance needs.
- Install, repair, and maintain air conditioning units.
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to diagnose and fix mechanical issues.
- Assist with the construction of new structures or renovations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a maintenance person or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of ammonia refrigeration systems.
- Proficient in plumbing repairs and installations.
- HVAC/R certification or experience is highly preferred.
- Ability to read blueprints and design plans for construction projects.
- Familiarity with property maintenance practices and procedures.
- Excellent mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
