JLL has an opportunity for a Mailroom Supervisor to support our client's facility in New York, NY. Apply today and join us in shaping the future of real estate!
In this role, you will ensure that Clerks execute the delivery of our client contract and manage all in-house and third-party parcel carriers/vendors related to shipping/receiving, client requests, and internal collaboration & support to ensure exceptional experience and service from first contact through planning, execution, reporting.
Here is some of what you will be doing:
Ensure mailroom operations are executed in a manner consistent with the client’s standard processes, and professional brand image, and compliant with applicable local laws.
Managing, receiving, and delivering incoming and outgoing mail and packages using an automated system to track and manage activity, and perform quality checks on outbound mail.
Organizes and maintains a clean mailroom
Orders and maintains the office and cleaning supply inventory
Dispatches work orders to vendors when required
Works collaboratively within the facility management team
Support data collection, analysis, and reporting
Payroll and scheduling
Serve as the point of contact for Client employee inquiries and issues related to mail services, and anticipate and respond to Clients’ needs and concerns.
Identifies potential risks and escalate, to ensure no incident or disruption to the Client’s operations.
Who should apply?
Required:
A high school diploma or GED
2+ years of experience in mailroom operations or hospitality
Basic MS Office knowledge
Desired:
Previous Supervisory experience/people management
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Pay $33-40.57/HR depending on experience
Physical:
Able to safely operate all mailroom machinery requiring continuous or repetitive arm-hand-eye movements
Able to stand for long periods to perform physical tasks
Able to lift up to fifty (50) pounds at one time and to safely carry the same weight up to 30 feet
