Mailroom Part-Time Prep Clerk

FUNCTION: Open, sort, and batch mail by client name or shipper number as per department procedures.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

• Open and sort mail based on department procedures and basic processing requirements.
• Prepare mail for scanning by removing any staples, paper clips, tape, etc.
• Group invoices of same shipper number or client per client procedures.
• Apply appropriate scanning header sheets per departmental procedures.
• Forward grouped invoices to appropriate department.
• Other duties as assigned.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

• Ability to grasp and retain instructions.
• Good organizational skills.

MINIMUM LEVEL OF PREPARATION AND TRAINING NORMALLY REQUIRED:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
