Mailroom / Mail Handler

THIS ROLE IS LOCATED ON SITE IN SAN ANTONIO, TX

The hours of operation for this role is full time 7:00AM-3:30PM Monday-Friday. Must be available to work every other Saturday in rotation, an additional day of during week will be provided. The Mailroom Associate I is responsible for processing documents according to current procedures.

• Physical Mail Handling:
• The Mailroom Associate will handle duties that include opening and sorting mail
• The Mailroom Associate will perform tasks that include processing incoming payments and sorting proper department documentation
• The Mailroom associate provides internal customer service by processing documents specified for business needs
• The Mailroom Associate provide necessary tasks in processing mail and documentation including removing post-it notes, unfolding documents, copy shipping labels as needed for scanning for documentation and verification
• Data Entry:
• Key required fields per current business rules and work instructions
• Perform first-level research as required to correctly identify and route document images per current business rules and work instructions
• All other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Associates degree or some college preferred
• Previous experience in document preparation/sorting, data entry or general administrative support preferred

Required Skills:

• Computer literate with working knowledge of MS Office
• Ability to follow instructions
• Must be able to read and write in English

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
