Milton CAT is seeking a Mailroom Coordinator in our Milford, MA location. This position will work independently to keep mail flowing throughout the Corporate office and 16 Branch locations. This role is responsible for all mail, packages and interoffice correspondence as well as the handling, routing, pick-up and delivery activities of mail operation.
Responsibilities: - Opening, sorting and delivering US Mail and UPS/Fedex packages on a daily basis, excluding National Holidays
- Sorting and delivering inter-company bag delivered by shuttle service that runs between branch locations
- Metering outgoing US Mail daily; assist with preparing Certified and Priority outgoing mail
- Managing funds for the US Mail
- Verify outgoing vendor checks; detach checks from stub, stuff envelop and meter
- Order, store and manage office supplies
- Assist Accounts Payables with the printing of electronic invoices
- Other duties as assigned
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Experience working in an office setting
- Previous mailroom or clerical experience a plus
- Organizational skills and high attention to detail
- Proficient in the use of a computer and related software (Word, Excel, etc.)
- Good communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
- Ability to work effectively in a high-volume environment and adapt to changing business needs
- Be a Champion of excellent customer service and possess a strong winning attitude
- Ability to work independently and as a team player with strong organizational skills
- Successful candidates will be self-motivated
