Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Mailroom Clerk. As a Mailroom Clerk, you will be responsible for handling incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and other documents. Your role will be crucial in ensuring efficient mail distribution and maintaining accurate records.
Duties:
- Receive and sort incoming mail, packages, and documents
- Prepare outgoing mail and packages for delivery
- Utilize RF scanner to track and record shipments
- Maintain organized filing systems for easy retrieval of documents
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely delivery of mail and packages
- Perform general administrative tasks as needed
Experience:
- Previous experience in a shipping/receiving or mailroom role is preferred
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks such as loading/unloading packages
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficient in basic computer skills, including email and data entry
