JOB DESCRIPTION
Division: *** Inc. Department/Business Group: Site Services, Corporate Offices and Research Center Job title: Mailroom Clerk
Situation in organization
Reports to the Office Services Supervisor. Other positions reporting to the Office Services Supervisor are two other mailroom staff and one receptionist.
Job dimensions
This position is responsible for performing tasks needed to:
Fulfill the mission of the R&D and Corporate mailroom (42 mailstops)
Support records archive program (archive boxes for filing & delivering)
Support site office moves (distributing & moving boxes from current to new location)
Activities
Receipt and shipment of US Government Client mail and priority mail
Delivery to and pick-up from the site (14 buildings on-site)
Archive records box distribution, collection, storage and pick-up support
Provide desk drops and area postings as requested to 10 buildings
Move boxes for inter-campus personnel moves
Processing UPS, DHL, Freight, and Fedex mail and/or packages
Weekly check run / mass mailings / packing / sorting etc
Other jobs as assigned
Context and environment
This position serves the full site and requires daily travel to all site buildings.

Responsible for individual effort. This includes quality of work, efficiency of effort, completeness, customer satisfaction, safety and housekeeping.
