Mailroom Assistant
Part Time;
Location: RadNet Corporate Office; Owings Mills, MD;
Hours Per Week: 30 hours
Shift: 9:00am-3:00pm
JOB SUMMARY
Under general supervision, performs moderate secretarial and administrative support for daily office operations – to include running and processing all mail, working return mail and reprocessing mail for postage. May involve answering incoming telephone calls.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Promptly and courteously answers telephone calls.
Cooperates to help other personnel as needed in the spirit of teamwork.
Copies and faxes documents while maintaining office files and other information tracking systems.
Sets up mail jobs by type and completes the printing, sorting, stuffing, sealing and posting of all outgoing mail.
Troubleshoots mail equipment system errors and works with service team to resolve any issues.
Maintains reporting of outbound mail allocations and expenses.
Maintains adequate inventory of mail room supplies, orders and receives supplies as necessary.
Requirements:MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Working knowledge of computers – to include Outlook and various systems as it relates to job performance.
Ability to handle moderately complex assignments under minimal supervision
Ability to communicate clearly both written and verbally.
Mathematical ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide whole numbers, decimals, and fractions.
Ability to be detail-oriented
Must be able to work effectively both independently and with others.
The above knowledge, skills and abilities may be demonstrated by a high school diploma or equivalent experience required.
Two to four years prior experience in a similar role is preferred.
Pay Range: $17.00 - 18.00/hour
The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty, location and training. This pay scale is not a guarantee of a particular wage.
