Mail Room/General Clerk Iii (Part Time)

American Services Technology, Inc. (ASTI) is seeking a part timeMail Room/General Clerk III at NASA Marshall Space Flight Center, AL. This job description below is intended to provide general operational guidelines and is not necessarily inclusive of all functional activities associated with the job.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Sort and distribute mail, assists in a variety of administrative matters, and maintains a wide variety of financial or other records.
• Maintains up to date Standard Distribution Lists (SDLs).
• Provides detailed reports of actual postage costs.
• Manages the small package collection points and executes small package shipments in accordance with the Government designated carrier.
• Preform other duties as assigned

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma/GED or 1-year equivalent experience without a degree.
• A good working knowledge of the governing supply systems, programs, policies, nomenclature, work methods, manuals, or other established guidelines
• An understanding of the needs of the organization serviced
• Ability to multi-task and provide team support
• Detail-oriented, organized and thorough
