Mail Room Coordinator

Description

As Mailroom Coordinator you will have the opportunity to coordinate postal receiving and distribution functions as well as perform various clerical duties to include scanning, updating, and auditing.
As a Mailroom Coordinator, you will:

• Organize and direct work of mailroom personnel
• Maintain mailroom in optimal working conditions; all supplies are stocked and equipment is operational
• Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail; collect, prepare, and process all outgoing mail including Accounts Payable
• Pick up and deliver mail to and from campus buildings
• Pick up and deliver mail to and from local post office on a daily basis
• Process, prepare, track, and forward customer loan confirmations
• Maintain log for audited and misdirected checks and returned confirmations
• Audit accounts payable checks to ensure correct payee and amount
• Communicate with various outside vendors to facilitate timely package deliveries, equipment maintenance needs and special mail projects
• Generate reports on general activity
• Prompt and regular attendance required

You could be a great addition as a Mailroom Coordinator, if you have:

• Computer literate to include Word and Excel
• Knowledge of postal regulations and procedures for handling mail
• Must maintain a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
• Prior leadership experience preferred
