Job Summary:
The Machinist I oversees the production of parts according to plant and customer specifications, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery using manual machine centers. The pay is $18 an hour and is Monday-Friday from 6am-4:30pm. Essential Functions:

• Independently operates various types of machines, executing progressive machining operations with minimal supervision.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent GED
• 1 year of relevant experience

Preferred:

• Associate degree
• 2 years of relevant experience

Physical Demand Factors:

• Strength Level Rating: Medium work. Involves exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, or an amount greater than negligible and up to 10 pounds constantly to move objects.

Work Environment:

• The worker in this role will frequently:
  
  • Reach by extending hands and arms; handle objects by seizing, holding, grasping, turning, or otherwise working with hands.
  • Perform tasks primarily with fingers, such as picking or pinching.
  • Have near acuity with clarity of vision at 20 inches or less.
  • Judge distances and spatial relationships, perceiving objects three-dimensionally.
• The worker will occasionally:
  
  • Stoop by bending body downward and forward, utilizing lower extremities and back muscles.
  • Kneel by bending legs at knees to come to rest on knee(s).
  • Crouch by bending body downward and forward, involving legs and spine.
  • Adjust vision to bring objects into sharp focus.
  • Identify and distinguish colors.

Pay Details: $18.00 per hour
