Our ideal candidate specializes in managing a high volume of video production projects from concept development to post-production and final delivery. You are proactive, creative, and capable of anticipating challenges and presenting thoughtful solutions. Previous experience managing projects where designers are creating digital media, websites, social media assets is a plus, but not a deal breaker.You can confidently lead project kick-off calls and stakeholder syncs in a fast-paced, solutions-oriented environment. You can communicate effectively, make decisions on the fly, and encourage collaboration between teams.

 

We are seeking to hire freelance superstars at a $40-$80/hour project rate based on the project type, required skills and experience, but also have opportunities throughout the year for full-time and permanent creative hires!

Overview

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Manage and oversee video pre-production, content creation, planning, supervising stakeholders, and vendors alike to deliver high quality product on time and within budget
• Review, update, and communicate project plans based on changes in scope or schedule to ensure that the project stays on track
• Collaborate with clients to define key messages and anticipate and respond to needs and requests from clients
• Review videos, designs, and copywritten material to ensure they meet client standards and specifications
• Provide guidance for story outlines, scripts, interview questions and recordings, storyboards, b-roll and image selection, voice over recordings, motion graphics, and animation asks. Communicate client edits to vendor and vice versa
• Ensure all projects are on schedule and provide timely status updates
• Reviewing and updating project plans based on changes in scope or schedule to ensure that the project stays on track
• Upload videos, scripts, creative and written materials, and share with client/key stakeholder
• Oversee final assets video, creative and written collection to ensure all media is archived appropriately and can be readily obtained
• Overseeing a team of editors, animators, designers, copywriters, and contractors to ensure they complete their work on time and within budget
• Stay updated on project status at all times and provide support to both the creative and video production team members and stakeholders
• Facilitate ongoing team discussions and work to resolve challenges
• Work, think, and pivot quickly in a fast-paced and fluid environment

 

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

Experience and Education:

• A minimum of 7 years of relevant project management experience, with a heavy emphasis on video production and partner relationship management
• Proven experience working with teams across multiple departments (cross-functional groups a plus)
• Experience overseeing multiple projects simultaneously with multiple stakeholders with tight timelines
• Experience within the tech, AI space, as well as executive communication preferred but not required
• Experience in client-facing role
• Experience in project management and budget management

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and adept at fostering productive collaborations with clients, vendors, and internal team members
• Keen attention to detail, coupled with exceptional organizational and problem-solving capabilities
• You thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic setting, maintaining professionalism while handling high-pressure scenarios
