Job Description:
We are currently recruiting for a motivated and passionate Machining Technician to operate fabrication machines while following set standards.
This position is located in Fayetteville, TN
$19 per hour
THE DAY TO DAY...
- Safe operations of machine and tools, following procedures and protocol
- Live and promote the Ariens Core Values and 15 Principles
- Must be able to perform all Machine Operator duties and responsibilities
- Identify and troubleshoot problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
- Independently set up, modify program and operate machine tools to standard work
- Independently operate multiple CNC & manual machine tools employing basic machining processes with ability to identify correct tooling, work holding, fixtures, feed rates and cutting speeds
- Assist and train Machine Operators and Machining Technicians
THE QUALIFICATIONS...
- Ability to communicate effectively by applying common sense understanding to carry out detailed but written or oral instructions
- Ability to set-up and operate CNC mills and lathes at a basic skill level
- Ability to work independently and as a team
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Must be able to support and improve processes through Ariens Production System methods
- Working knowledge of Blue Print reading
- Capable of performing multiple fabrication processes adhering to standard work
THE WORK ENVIRONMENT...
- Ability to stand and/or walk for 8+ hours a day
- Must be able to use hands to position parts in place
- Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 lbs
- Must wear required Personal Protective Equipment
