Work Arrangement: This role is categorized as onsite. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to DMAX on a full-time basis.
The Role:
In this role, you will be responsible to manage salaried group leaders in the implementation and execution of the established business process for an area in the production operations and foster an atmosphere of teamwork and cooperation. Work is of a technical nature using independent judgment within the limits of Global Manufacturing Systems (GMS); focusing on Safety, People, Quality, Responsiveness, Cost, and Environment (SPQRCE). Must possess the ability to deal with complex problems.
What You’ll Do:
- Coach, train, develop and evaluate employees
- Provide assistance in analyzing and solving complex manufacturing problems and assist in obtaining resources to effectively perform operations
- Maintain frequent contact with others outside the work group
- Administer divisional and Corporate policies
- Meet cost, schedule and quality requirements
- Maintain Corporate and unit management control systems, budget and other information necessary to monitor performance in addition to maintaining safety and good housekeeping standards
- Comply with the terms of local and national labor agreements
- Assist in the forecasting of areas of responsibility and establishing a course of action to accomplish completion of the job or project
Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications):
- 5+ years of Manufacturing/Manufacturing Engineering experience or equivalent experience
- Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to build and supervise teams through resolution of highly unusual and complex quality and build issues
- Experience managing a large scale budget in a manufacturing setting
- Ability to manage and influence other corporate Manufacturing functions: Manufacturing Engineering (ME), Global Supply Chain (GSC), Scheduling, etcetera.
- Ability to solve problems on both a singular and group-based level by utilizing continuous improvement solutions

- Previous experience in machining maintenance
- Experience with problem solving tools such as Red X or Six Sigma
