Southern Aluminum Foundry (SAF), a fast-growing manufacturing company, is seeking a motivated Machine Shop Team Lead to join our team in Clinton, South Carolina. In this manufacturing role, you will earn a competitive wage, depending on experience, with an incentive based on performance.

Day in the Life:

As a Machine Shop Team Lead, you will play a critical role in producing high-quality parts by:

• Setting up machines
• Keep material flowing through the shop
• Inspecting and machining aluminum castings
• Operating both manual and automatic machines
• Identifying and addressing any defects in the castings

Candidates must have:

• Machining experience and/or 3-5+ years of overseeing a Machine Shop
• Can manage supplies and inventories, supervise shop, manage the overall quality of production
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels and build strong relationships
• Strong ability to establish priorities and meet deadlines
• Quality Control experience is a plus
• The ability to perform physical duties such as lifting 30+ pounds, bending, twisting, and standing for long periods of time
• A high school diploma or equivalent
• U.S. citizenship or documented residency
• Be 18+ years old
