Work directly for our Central, NJ client (Hunterdon County) that designs and manufactures precision tooling & machined parts for the aerospace industry
Seeking a Machine Shop Generalist to join our team. The position requires familiarity with Machine Shop environment and a willingness to learn. Generalist will primarily help in the general day to day functions of the shop. This position will cover general duties as well as the opportunity to work on the shop floor. Ideal candidate would have an mechanical background as well.
Surface Grinding
Inventory and organize raw material stock
Raw material purchasing
Raw material preparation for jobs
Shipping/Receiving/Inventory of goods and/or services from outside sources
Weekly Garbage Removal
High School Diploma
Fluent in English language both verbal and written.
Must be a self-starter and require minimal supervision.
Effectively communicate and understand job instructions both verbally and written
Attention to detail
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (at least 35 lbs on a regular basis)
Ability to stand for extended times
Work as part of a team
Must be available to work overtime (10 hours a week on average)'
