Machine Operator Ii (Onsite)

Job Responsibilities:

• Operate various machines in production environment including press, sander, shear, and various knives
• Carefully follow detailed work instructions
• Identify and report quality concerns
• Delicately handle fragile veneer panels
• Assist other areas as needed

Job Qualifications:

• HS diploma with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience. In the absence of a HS diploma or GED, 3 years of relevant experience is required.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. Collins Aerospace will not offer sponsorship for this position.
• Basic computer skills
• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Must be able to stand for 8+ hours per day

Preferred Job Qualifications:

• Machine operation or woodworking is a plus
• Continuous Improvement/ACE experience is a plus
• EH&S experience is a plus
• AS9100 experience is a plus

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.
