- Location: Reading, PA
Shifts available:
- Weekday Days (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and every other Monday; 5am - 5:30pm)
- Weekday Nights (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and every other Monday; 5pm - 5:30am)
- Weekend Days (Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and every other Monday; 5am - 5:30pm)
- Weekend Nights (Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and every other Monday; 5pm - 5:30am)
Expectations:
- Receive raw material from warehousing team and add the material to the hopper or feed system
- Operate advanced chemical processing equipment such as mills, extruders, blenders, and mixers safely and within controlled process parameters
- Take samples of product and manage quality test, recording results
- Minimize heavy lifting by operating a forklift to add raw material to feed system or remove finished packaging from the equipment
- Maintain clean equipment and a clean and organized work area
- Perform routine general upkeep on equipment
- High frequency of batch ticket and documentation completion
- Other tasks as needed to support the team’s success
Qualifications
- Lift up to 75 lbs.
- Stand, stretch, kneel, crouch, sit
- Understanding of basic math including adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing, fractions, percentages, decimals, conversions, etc.
- High School Diploma/GED preferred
Custom Processing Services provides contract manufacturing/toll processing services to a wide variety of industries. Specialized processes center on particle size reduction using a number of methods including jaw crushing, pulverizing, micronizing and media milling. Additional services such as flash drying, surface treatments, blending, dispersing and packaging are also available. The Processing Pros provide new product development assistance from R&D concepts through their commercialization.
