WHAT YOU’LL DO

As Bosch Operator, you’ll be responsible operating higher level of technical machines which includes the set-up/break down, cleaning, monitoring, and recording the operation of assigned machinery/equipment/workstation as trained. Additional duties will be to follow all applicable production processes to operate and meet or exceed daily production requirements.

OTHER ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform machine set-up and tear down as trained
• Perform necessary machine adjustments during production, as required
• Visually inspect the machine as it is running to verify that it is running within normal safe operational parameters. Perform all required product testing during production, making minor adjustments as necessary to keep all physical characteristics of capsule within specification.
• Maintain machine in reasonably clean condition during encapsulation run as directed
• Make sure all paperwork is complete and accurate throughout and after run. Document all set up and cleaning in the log book and other pertinent paperwork as required
• Clean machine and workstation after completion of the production run
• Maintain machine in good working order; to include:Inspect machine for wear
• Have any worn or malfunctioning parts evaluated and/or replaced by maintenanceClean and maintain tooling in good conditionHandle machine parts with a high degree of care, avoiding unnecessary damage
• Adhere to existing company policies and procedures in the Production Department including safety, cGMP’s, and good housekeeping practices

• Meet or exceed daily production requirements adhering to product specifications as set by production management
• Perform other job duties and responsibilities, as assigned

WHAT YOU BRING

• High school diploma (or equivalent)
• Experience working in a fast paced manufacturing environment; preferably within the Food or Nutraceutical industry
• Experience working with a powered machine, Encapsulation machine experience a plus
• Must be able to comprehend and follow directions, be trained on Good Manufacturing Practices, and maintain high quality workmanship
• Possess basic math skills
• Ability to effectively communicate in English via speaking, writing, and reading
• Must be willing to work overtime or on weekends, as the workload demands

WORK ENVIRONMENT

• A large percentage of the time is spent in the production area where noise level can be moderate to high
• Duties are performed primarily in a smoke-free manufacturing environment

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Frequently required to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, balance, and reach
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs
• Push/Pull up to 300 lbs
