We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate should possess a high school diploma, have experience with setup and adjustment of machinery, and basic math skills. Experience with electronics, calipers, and micrometers is a plus but not mandatory.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Set up machinery before production runs, including selecting the right tools, materials, and programming parameters.
- Operate and monitor machinery to ensure smooth and efficient production processes.
- Perform regular quality checks to ensure products meet required specifications and standards.
- Make adjustments to machinery as necessary to correct errors or deviations in the production process.
- Use basic math skills to measure and calculate dimensions, quantities, and tolerances.
- Maintain accurate records of production activities, including machine settings, measurements, and product counts.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure they operate effectively and report any issues to the maintenance department.
- Troubleshoot and resolve minor issues that may arise during the production process.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to achieve production goals and resolve challenges effectively.
Skills/Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Machine Operator is a plus.
- Experience with electronics, calipers, and micrometers is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
- Physical fitness to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights when necessary.
