Machine Operator

We are looking for a dedicated Machine Operator to handle the setup, and maintenance of our operation machinery.

Your days will consist of…

• Set up machines (calibration, cleaning, etc.) to start daily production cycles
• Control and adjust machine settings (e.g. speed)
• Feed raw materials or parts to semi-automated machines
• Inspect parts with precision and measuring tools
• Fix issues that might occur during the shift
• Check output to spot any machine-related mistakes or flaws
• Set up and/or break down of Proseal inline sealing machines at the end of shift
• Changeover of Proseal equipment during production runs
• Troubleshoot Proseals during production runs alongside production leads
• Identify issues and work alongside maintenance to prevent future issues or escalate advanced issues properly to maintenance department
• Assist in production activities when available and needed by production leads
• Help maintain certain Proseal equipment at the end of shift
• Wash down of Proseal arms and molds
• Remove any debris from molds accumulated during production runs

We’d love for you to...

• Have a High School Diploma or equivalent
• Proven experience as a Machine Operator in a food manufacturing facility
• Working knowledge of diverse high-speed machinery
• Understanding of production procedures
• Adherence to health and safety regulations (e.g. constant use of protective gear)
• Teamwork and communication skills
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, and excellent written and verbal communication
• Possess an ability to multitask and handle various tasks at a time throughout your work day

Job Type: Full-time

Hourly rate range: $18-$22

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Start time of 8 with availability of 7am
• Day shift
• Holidays
