We are looking for a dedicated Machine Operator to handle the setup, and maintenance of our operation machinery.
Your days will consist of…
- Set up machines (calibration, cleaning, etc.) to start daily production cycles
- Control and adjust machine settings (e.g. speed)
- Feed raw materials or parts to semi-automated machines
- Inspect parts with precision and measuring tools
- Fix issues that might occur during the shift
- Check output to spot any machine-related mistakes or flaws
- Set up and/or break down of Proseal inline sealing machines at the end of shift
- Changeover of Proseal equipment during production runs
- Troubleshoot Proseals during production runs alongside production leads
- Identify issues and work alongside maintenance to prevent future issues or escalate advanced issues properly to maintenance department
- Assist in production activities when available and needed by production leads
- Help maintain certain Proseal equipment at the end of shift
- Wash down of Proseal arms and molds
- Remove any debris from molds accumulated during production runs
We’d love for you to...
- Have a High School Diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as a Machine Operator in a food manufacturing facility
- Working knowledge of diverse high-speed machinery
- Understanding of production procedures
- Adherence to health and safety regulations (e.g. constant use of protective gear)
- Teamwork and communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, and excellent written and verbal communication
- Possess an ability to multitask and handle various tasks at a time throughout your work day
