Machine Learning Intern

Verus Research is searching for a Machine Learning Intern to assist research & development, conception, and implementation of advanced concepts in artificial intelligence, Machine Learning, autonomous systems, and mobile robotics. This potentially includes developing and implementing Machine Learning algorithms with a focus on some combination of generative methods, data fusion, classification, verification and validation, optimization, and/or reinforcement learning.This posting is for work in Albuquerque, NM and is intended to be a summer 2024 appointment only. Verus Research is prepared to pay for round-trip travel to and from Albuquerque and lodging expenses during your time in Albuquerque. Transportation needed through the duration of the internship, but Not Provided.

TheMachine Learning Intern will work on a team comprising industry and government technical personnel under the supervision of senior engineering staff. In addition, the Machine Learning Intern will possess the following:

• US Citizen
• Currently pursuing a degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics, aerospace engineering, electrical engineering, or related fields
• Experience working on Machine Learning problems
• Experience with Python, R and C++
• Familiar with PyTorch, TensorFlow, or other Machine Learning frameworks
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing

Job Types: Internship, Full-time

Salary: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour
