- 4+ years of non-internship professional software development experience

The Amazon Dash Cart is a smart shopping cart that uses sensors to keep track of what a shopper has added. Once done, they can bypass the checkout lane and just walk out. The cart comes with convenience features like a store map, a basket that can weigh produce, and product recommendations. Our team owns the data and training infrastructure for the carts vision and non-vision algorithms. We collaborate closely with scientists to train models, refine algorithms, and build self learning systems. Our services are central to making the smart cart smart.
Key job responsibilities
- collaborate with scientists and a range of engineering disciplines (UI, hardware, electrical, etc.).
- design, build, and operate new services that facilitate the training of deep learning and classical Machine Learning models.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $115,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
