Job Description

An engineer with a focus on Machine Learning and LLM based development. Responsible for the development, implementation, and on-going support of ML models. Should have experience Python and experience integrating models into existing architectures in cloud environments using and developing APIs.

Should have deep knowledge of and experience with Machine Learning and AI concepts and be able to articulate differences between them as well as data requirements that they may have. Particularly the candidate should have knowledge of LLM and prompt engineering. Should understand the flow of data and be able to extract/clean data, into appropriate structures, to train models. Should understand synchronous and asynchronous data pipelines and training methodologies and help guide a data engineering team to the best solution.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Design and develop ML AI models to use NLP to solve business challenges.
• Worked with LLMs and integrated with APIs. I.e. Open AI, Hugging Face etc,
• Knowledge of recent developments in ML and LLMs,
• Experience with embeddings and vector search platforms. I.e. Pinecone, etc
• Experience of prompt engineering and using augmented data with LLMs,
• Work closely with Dev Lead and Architect and other data providers to ensure implementation follows best practices.
• Able to build and deploy models and work with DevOps to automate processes.
• Analyze data for trends and patterns, and interpret data with clear objectives in mind.
• Research and leverage new NLP/ML innovations to keep up to industry developments.
• Experience of comparing effectiveness of models and making recommendations for model improvements or alternative techniques

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in statistics, mathematics, computer science or equivalent required, with master’s degree preferred.
• At least 3 years of experience in building AI related models using, Python, or equivalent.
• Expertise in different model architectures, specifically Time Series models, Variational Auto Encoders, LLMs.
• Proficiency in ML techniques around Anomaly Detection, generative models and NLP.
• Experience of Python and associated ML and DS libraries.
• Experience with Data pipelining and preprocessing strategies.
• Experience with NLP services and knowledge of Prompt Engineering and Embeddings.
• Understanding of pipeline automation and monitoring.
• Understanding of data security and compliance.
• Database knowledge, especially MSSQL Server.
• Ability to quickly understand complex consumer behavior and businesses concepts, including financial, operational, and strategic aspects.
• Communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work in team environment; experience in communicating with client stakeholders and senior leadership on complex topics.
• Advanced knowledge of relational database concepts with ability to perform complex queries in a SQL Server environment.
