MA / DME Sleep Team

Are you interested in working in a dynamic environment with a team approach to patient-focused care? If you are, Andros ENT & Sleep Center in Inver Grove Heights is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant/ DME (Durable Medical Equipment) to join our team.

Medical Assistants/DME are responsible for assisting our clinicians to provide high quality, comprehensive primary care to individuals and families in our surrounding communities. Some of the duties performed by our Medical Assistants include scribe, patient flow, taking vitals and assisting with procedures.  DME responsibilities include customer service, CPAP mask fittings, documentation and collecting payments.

We are seeking an individual with good interpersonal and communication skills, who understands the importance of providing quality customer service, and has the willingness to be flexible with duties in order to meet the needs of the patients and clinic. Ideal candidates would be medical assistants and/or college graduate applying to Medical school or PA school in gap year and interested in the field of Sleep Study.

A candidate from a recognized Medical Assistant program, with experience in electronic health records, Pre-medical student or dental students are preferred. The ideal candidate must have strong computer skills; knowledge of medical terminology; an understanding of clinical situations and appropriate medical assistant interventions; knowledge of general office equipment and general medical equipment used in diagnostic and treatment of patients in outpatient primary care settings.
