As an Microsoft 365 Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for the planning, implementing, and operating Microsoft 365 technology for center facilities and corporate systems. This includes Microsoft 365 services such as Entra ID, Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, Intune, and Purview. The Microsoft 365 Systems Engineer will be a key player in establishing long-term goals related to patient experience, provider throughput, and evolving technology. This position requires two years of Microsoft 365 Systems Engineering and experience in an environment dependent on technology for business continuity.

You will analyze the needs of functional departments and establish priorities for delivery of solutions, provide technical support for cloud-based systems and software, and develop new and modify the company’s information processing systems. This will be a challenging position working in a fast-paced environment focused on agile and rapid deployment.

Job Requirements

Education

• Associate’s degree or equivalent required
• Bachelor’s degree preferred

Work Experience

• 2 years required
• 5 years preferred

Required Licenses/Certifications

• Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert (MS-102) preferred
• Microsoft 365 Certified: Fundamentals (MS-900) preferred

Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required

• Subject matter expert in the Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
• Experience developing, implementing, and maintaining Microsoft 365 services such as Entra ID, Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, Intune, Purview.
• Experience with Entra ID, user and application provisioning, licensing, conditional access, dynamic groups, AD Connect and Cloud Sync.
• Experience with Exchange Online, email encryption, email protection, DKIM, DMARC, SPF, retention and transport rules.
• Experience with SharePoint Online, modern site templates, site customizations.
• Experience with Microsoft Teams, Teams PBX, meeting room equipment.
• Experience with Microsoft Intune, mobile device management (MDM), mobile application management (MAM), AutoPilot, application packaging and policy management.
• Experience with Purview, data loss protection rules, data classification methods.
• Ability to deliver complex IT projects on time and within budget.
• Ability to learn new technologies, train others, and create documentation.
• Lead initiatives for designing and implementing new applications and services.

Additional Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Preferred

• Experience with ProofPoint Email Protection.
• Experience with VDI solutions (Azure Virtual Desktop or Windows 365).
• Experience with PowerShell or other scripting languages.
• Experience with Microsoft Defender, ATP, Cloud apps, Endpoint.
• Familiarity with Identity Management (Okta, One Log In).
• Familiarity with Active Directory and on-premise solutions (Group Policy, Certificates and Domain Trusts).
• Familiarity and experience with healthcare regulatory compliance and reporting bodies (HIPAA, JACHO, etc.)

The hourly pay rate range for this position is $40.00 to $60.00 (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location).
