JOB DESCRIPTION

Your primary responsibilities are to manage and support LWO Team Leads and Hosts, collaborating closely with the Office Administrator to streamline volunteer operations and engagement, and develop and implement comprehensive discipleship programs and initiatives aimed at supporting and enhancing the spiritual growth of LW Online members.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Spiritual Leadership:

Provide leadership, spiritual guidance, and teaching to the Online Church community and volunteers, fostering an environment of spiritual growth and support.


Recruitment and Training:

Oversee the recruitment process of volunteers and coordinate comprehensive training programs, ensuring they are well-prepared for their roles within the Online Church community.

Scheduling and Record-Keeping:

  • Collaborate with the Office Administrator to efficiently schedule volunteers for events and services using Planning Center.
  • Maintain accurate records of volunteer information, schedules, and communication within the Planning Center platform.

Support and Communication:

  • Provide ongoing support to volunteers, addressing their needs, sending regular updates, and offering resources and training opportunities to enhance their effectiveness in their roles.

Monthly Volunteer Meetings:

  • Assist the Office Administrator in planning and conducting monthly volunteer meetings via Zoom, fostering a sense of community and unity among volunteers.

Quality Control:

  • Ensure that Team Leads and Hosts adhere to church policies and procedures, maintaining high-quality standards in their roles.


Discipleship Programs:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive discipleship programs and initiatives aimed at

supporting and enhancing the spiritual growth of members.

  • Design and oversee curriculum development for discipleship programs to meet the diverse needs of the Online Church community.


Mentorship and Community Building:

  • Establish and oversee mentorship programs, facilitating connections between mature members and individuals seeking spiritual growth.
  • Create opportunities for fellowship and community building through virtual gatherings, events, and small groups.
  • Collaborate with the Online Church Department Head/Pastor in planning and leading online small groups, Bible studies, and prayer sessions.

Teaching and Training:

  • Develop and deliver educational materials, resources, and opportunities to facilitate spiritual growth and maturity among members.


Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the Online Church Pastor to align discipleship and spiritual growth initiatives with the overall mission and vision of the church.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Ordained or recognized ministry leadership qualifications preferred.
  • Proven experience in pastoral or ministry roles, preferably in discipleship or spiritual leadership capacities.
  • Strong teaching and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to connect and engage effectively within an online community.
  • Collaborative mindset with the capacity to work in a team-oriented environment.
  • Commitment to personal spiritual growth and ongoing learning.
  • Proficiency in using Planning Center or similar scheduling software.
  • Dedication to maintaining quality standards and fostering a supportive volunteer community.
  • Not afraid to confront people on issues and have crucial conversations as needed.

HOURS

20 hours per week.
