Role and Responsibilities:
As the Wellness Director, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health, well-being, and happiness of our residents. Your attention to detail, leadership skills, and effective communication will be instrumental in creating a positive and nurturing atmosphere within our community.
Responsibilities include:
- Overseeing the overall wellness and healthcare services provided to residents.
- Leading and managing a team of dedicated caregivers and healthcare professionals.
- Collaborating with medical providers, families, and residents to develop personalized care plans.
- Ensuring compliance with state regulations and maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records.
- Conducting regular assessments and wellness checks to monitor residents' health status.
- Providing training and guidance to staff members on best practices and resident care.
- Hosting educational programs and wellness events to promote healthy living.
- Contributing to the development and execution of community-wide wellness initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Valid Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license in CA.
- Proven experience in a healthcare leadership role, preferably within an Assisted Living or senior care setting.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Passion for working with seniors and a dedication to improving their quality of life.
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems and basic computer skills.
