At Canyon Villas Assisted Living, we strive to create a family-like environment for our residents and staff and are looking for a caring and attentive LVN to join the team. Most of our residents are fairly independent with the majority of their care done by our CNAs and med-techs, and the LVN oversees their care as needed. As the LVN on shift, responsibilities include:
- Medication assistance, including insulin injections
- Wound care
- Implement care plans in accordance with physician's orders or established nursing practices.
- Assess client physical and mental status and document observations and assessments in accordance with department policy.
- Dispense medications and treatments as directed by physician or registered nurse.
- Communicate effectively with other medical professionals and staff.
- Answer telephones, enter data into computer, and prepare reports as required.
- Communicate effectively with patients, clients, visitors, and families.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $37.00 - $39.00 per hour
