LVN (Long Beach Unified School District)

Maxim Healthcare Staffing is currently hiring for a Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVN) to work in the school setting! This will be for Long Beach Unified School District,
Our 1:1 School LVN role is available too and duties revolve around 5 areas of care: G-tubes, Tracheostomies, Seizure Disorders, Type 1 Diabetes, and supporting mental/physical delays. We provide clinical training. We also hire for health office as well! This opportunity is great for newly licensed LVNs or LVNs seeking pediatric experience. Make a major impact in a child's life!
General Information:
Days: Monday - Friday
Hours: Range from 7:00am - 4:00PM
Pay: $30-35/HR *Depends on your experience
Position Roles: Health Office LVN or 1:1 LVN
Location: Long Beach, CA

Responsibilities

• Clinical training provided
• Screens and conducts health appraisals for students and staff.
• Provides follow-up evaluations on students as required.
• Recommends corrective action where problems are identified..
• Records immunizations, health findings, and other relevant health data.
• Other Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Current Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) license for the state in which the nurse practices.
• Clinical training provided before placement
