SalaryOak Park Nursing and Rehabilitation is skilled nursing facility in San Antonio, TX. We are located in the medical district.
We are seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse to work at our Long Term Care facility. The ideal candidate will enjoy helping patients with a wide variety of medical issues and have experience working in a long term care environment. This is a full-time position and the position requires an advanced knowledge of medical terminology as well as strong communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and procedures to patients.
- Assess health condition and determine appropriate course of action in coordination with physician or physician's assistant.
- Monitor patient's vital signs and report changes to physician or nurse practitioner.
- Provide information to families and other health care providers.
- Perform physical assessment of patients; interacting with patients, families and other members of the health care team.
- Utilize specialized equipment and technology.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $29.00 per hour
