Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in various settings such as patients home, SNF, and assisted living facilities
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare professionals
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, including vital signs and symptoms
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients and their families on healthcare procedures, treatment plans, and self-care techniques
- Perform diagnostic evaluations and assist with medical procedures such as suturing and wound care
- Utilize medical equipment and technology to provide accurate assessments and interventions
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Skills:
- Proficient in ventilating patients and providing respiratory support
- Knowledge of anatomy and physiology to assess patient conditions accurately
- Familiarity with medical office procedures and documentation requirements
- Ability to perform diagnostic evaluations, including ophthalmology assessments
- Experience in caring for patients in intensive care units (ICUs) or critical care settings
- Competence in providing infant care, including feeding, bathing, and monitoring development
