- Maintain a consistent, pleasant, customer service-oriented image to customers.
- Assist customers with loading the purchased products in a safe manner.
- Providing accurate and dependable stock work, properly counting, stocking, facing, cleaning, and organizing the warehouse and yard.
- Maintain sufficient stock levels and good quality products.
- Maintain the appearance of the warehouse and stock areas.
- Complete training including, but not limited to product knowledge, location knowledge, and computer knowledge.
- Help keep the warehouse and yard clean.
- Stock, face, back stock, and re-order for their department.
- Other tasks as assigned by store management.
Requirements
What Does It Take to be Successful as an Yard Loader?
- Every or Every other Saturday/Sunday
- Construction or building material experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift up to climb up and down ladders, reach, bend, twist, kneel, lift up to 100 lbs., handle large odd shaped items, and stock items in overhead areas
- Able to accurately count and distinguish between merchandise within the store.
- Results-oriented with ability to serve stores with humility and be a steward of WOOD SHED’s values.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while remaining adaptable and flexible.
- Strong interpersonal skills with willingness to consistently provide superior customer service skills.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
