SalaryChapel Lumber, located in Elmira, NY, is seeking a motivated and reliable individual to fill a position in our Lumber Yard. Chapel Lumber has been a family owned and operated company since 1913 offering quality products and excellent customer service. We are looking for someone to assist customers in our Lumber Yard, loading and unloading trucks, going on or taking out deliveries that can include unloading material by hand. Must be capable of lifting up to 100 lbs. The ideal candidate for this position is self-motivated, positive, detail oriented, willing to learn and be a team player.
Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs
- Valid and Clean driver's license (to drive our trucks when needed)
- Must display professionalism when interacting with customers and coworkers
- Willing to work outside in the elements

Pay: Starting at $17.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday 7:30-5:00 and Every Other Saturday 7:30-12
Education & Experience:
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent, required
- Customer Service Skills
- Retail Lumber Business experience a plus
