Position Summary:

Northwest Hardwoods is a world class, integrated, global supplier of wood products to the furniture, cabinet, molding, and millwork segments worldwide. We operate manufacturing facilities throughout the United States. We have an immediate opening for a Lumber Technician I in our Loudonville, Ohio facility.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

• Physical ability to safely transfer lumber from production line to lumber cart. 
• Banding runners to lumber packs. 
• Keeping work areas safe and clean. 
• Wear proper safety equipment at all times 
• Basic paperwork knowledge 
• Job rotation into two or more positions is required 
• Must follow our Attendance Policy 

Basic Qualifications: 

• Have and maintain an excellent work attendance record 
• Be able to work at a steady pace and be detail oriented. 
•  Candidates who meet these qualifications will be considered further. 

Required Qualification:

• Must be safety conscious 
•  Must have a positive attitude and work well in a team environment 
• Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug-screen. 
• Must be able to lift 50+ pounds. 

Work Schedules: 

• Full time position 
• Four 10-hour shifts 6:00AM – 4:30PM
