The Schmidt Construction is seeking a Field Lube Tech to work at our Delta Shop in Colorado Springs, CO. The Field Lube Tech performs preventive maintenance and lubrication of all mobile equipment.
Pay: $22-30/HR
Shift/Schedule: Afternoon Shift

Responsibilities
The Field Lube Tech will:
- Lubricate and services truck and mobile fleet equipment
- Take and send oil samples
- Inspect vehicles for the purpose of identifying safety defects
- Make minor repairs to vehicles during preventive maintenance
- Make adjustments to brakes, clutches and other components
- Requisition parts and supplies
- Keep records and reports
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
Skills
The ideal candidate will have:
- Basic knowledge of mobile equipment and lubrication points
- Basic math skills
- Mechanical aptitude
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to manipulate hand and power tools
