● Perform minor maintenance, such as changing engine oil and filters.

● Perform complete vehicle maintenance inspection including tires, brakes, and all fluid levels.

● Communicate appropriate customer vehicle repair and maintenance recommendations to the service advisor.

Tire Responsibilities

● The Tire Technician is responsible for all tire servicing jobs. This includes mounting, dismounting, balancing, repairing and inspecting of all passenger and light truck tires.

● Perform visual safety inspections on all vehicles as time permits.

● Mount, dismount and balance four tires on a vehicle in 30 minutes or less.

●Responsible for receiving, delivering, checking in and putting away all merchandise used in store operations.

● All housekeeping duties in service bay areas and other areas assigned by the manager.

● Test drive customer vehicles and company vehicles as needed

● When coming into contact with a customer or in the same room as the customer, a friendly smile and acknowledgment of the customer is mandatory. Perform duties other than those specified in this description as needed.

Qualifications:

● A team player who is focused on providing exemplary customer service

● Ability to multitask in a fast paced work environment.

● Oil change experience would be great, but can be taught.

● Tire experience would be great, but can be taught.

● Basic mechanical understanding of an automobile

● Strong organizational skills and detail oriented

● Possess a valid driver's license

Job Type: Full-time

Monday-Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Pay: $12.00 - $20.00 per hour
