Description
The Dane County Land and Water Resources Department (LWRD) is accepting applications to develop an eligibility list for Limited Term Employment (LTE) for 2024. This eligible list will be for LTE Lake Management Truck Drivers. LTE Lake Management Truck Drivers earn $24.16 per hour. Initial review of applications and/or job offers will begin as early as March.
LTEs are limited to 1,200 hours in a payroll year and are not guaranteed any hours per week.
For 2024, Lake Management LTEs may be required to work 10 hour days, four days a week. This may include either a Monday thru Thursday work week or a Tuesday thru Friday work week.

Education, Training and Experience:
Must be eighteen (18) years of age or older.
Certifications/Licenses:
Applicants must possess a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL). Applicants requiring a CDL must pass drug/alcohol testing after a conditional offer of employment has been made. Everyone who has a CDL must be registered in the US Department of Transportation's Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse. Registration is available at
Background Check Statement: Some positions may require a criminal background check which can include fingerprinting due to the nature of the job's responsibilities. For Bilingual Positions:
