Job Description
We are seeking an LPN/RN to join our team! You will be responsible for delivering high quality care to assigned patients in their homes..
Responsibilities:
- Care for ill, injured, or convalescing patients
- Provide basic patient care and treatment
- Collaborate with registered nurses to administer prescribed medications
- Sterilize and prepare medical tools and equipment
- Educate and update patients on medical treatments
- Develop and implement plan of care
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in nursing or other medical fields
- Familiarity with medical tools and equipment
- Ability to build rapport with patients
- Compassionate and caring demeanor
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Minimum of one (1) year pediatric experience in nursing, preferred.
Requirements:
- At least 18 years of age.
- Possesses a high school diploma or GED. Graduate of a state approved school of practical (vocational) nursing and currently licensed in the state(s) in which practicing.
- Able to communicate and understand communication effectively in exchanges between the client, family representatives, and other providers.
- Successful completion of a written competency exam related to the agency's training course.
- Valid, current state driver's license and access to a reliable automobile or reliable public transportation.
