Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced RN/LPN Charge Nurse to join our team. The Charge Nurse will play a pivotal role in providing leadership and supervision to the nursing staff, ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Supervise and lead a team of nursing staff, including LPNs and CNAs.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate resident care plans.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive and individualized care for each resident.
- Monitor and maintain accurate medical records for residents.
- Respond to emergencies and provide prompt and appropriate interventions.
- Participate in staff development and training programs.
Qualifications:
- Current RN or LPN license in the state of FL.
- Previous experience in a nursing leadership role preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Knowledge of and commitment to maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.
