Form of workMaxim Healthcare in Abingdon, VA is hiring for a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)/Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to work with a pediatric or adult patient in their own home in the Wytheville area. We have a variety of openings in the area with a wide range of schedules. In Wytheville, we have a pediatric patient that needs a nurse to attend school with him. We also have a opening for full or part time hours with an adult patient!
Pay rate range:
LPN: $24-28 an hour
Full time weekly salary: $1,040+

Responsibilities:
- Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- On each assignment, provides skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders
- Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
- Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.
Qualifications:
- Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the state in which the LPN/LVN will practice.
- Current TB or Chest X-Ray.
- Current BLS card.
