Lpn Psychiatric Nurse

Duties
- Administer medications and monitor patients for any adverse reactions or side effects
- Provide case management services to patients, including coordinating with other healthcare professionals and social workers
- Provide critical care support to patients in psychiatric emergencies or crisis situations
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, heart rate, and temperature
- Utilize knowledge of child/adult psychiatry to provide specialized care to pediatric patients
- Demonstrate understanding of psychiatric disorders and their impact on physiology and behavior

Requirements
- Valid nursing license (LPN)
- Proven experience in administering medications and providing psychiatric care
- Proficiency in case management techniques and coordination of care
- Knowledge of infection control protocols
- Ability to provide critical care support in psychiatric emergencies
- Strong assessment skills, including the ability to monitor vital signs accurately
- Experience working with children/adults in a psychiatric setting is preferred
- Understanding of the physiological aspects of psychiatric disorders
- Familiarity with laboratory procedures related to psychiatric patient care
