LPN Per Diem in Convenient Care / ER

Are you an LPN interested in working in a Critical Care environment, then this position is meant for you! This person would work a day a week in our Convenient Care / ER Department as assigned, from 10:00am - 10:00pm.

Summary: Promotes and restores patients' health by completing the nursing process; collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members; providing physical and psychological support to patients, friends, and families; supervising assigned team members. Provides on-site care to Memorial Hospital patients by following Memorial Hospital Mission, Vision and Service Excellence.

Qualifications:
Clinical Skills, Bedside Manner, Infection Control, Nursing Skills, Physiological Knowledge, Administering Medication, Medical Teamwork, Multi-tasking, Listening, Verbal Communication, Health Promotion and Maintenance.
Licensure:
Illinois LPN License in good standing.
Training:
o Annual education, skills and competencies required by MH LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE
o BLS
o ACLS & PALS (within 1 year)
Experience:
o Requires completion of LPN program with clinical experience, as evidence of IL licensure o Preferred 1 year nursing experience.

Immunizations:
o Required Vaccinations per IDPH and CDC and Memorial Hospital policy.
