POSITION OVERVIEW:
PediCare is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. As a Private Duty LPN, you would be responsible for providing one on one care for a pediatric patient in the home as prescribed by the physician and in accordance with PediCare's standards and policies. Training and orientation will be provided.
LOCATION:
Summit, MS
SHIFTS AVAILABLE:
We are looking for 1-2 PRN nurses to fill an ongoing need for week day and weekend shifts -
Mon-Fri - 1 day/wk rotating - 7a-7p
Saturday & Sunday: 8a-5p - shift times flexible
POSITION TYPE:
PRN positions available - Self-Schedule - You pick your schedule!
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE PRIVATE DUTY NURSE INCLUDE:
- Provide one on one nursing care to pediatric patient in a home setting
- Perform assessments, medication administration and prescribed treatments according to plan of care
- Monitor and manage patient equipment and supplies
- Educate parents, caregivers, and patients

REQUIREMENTS
- Active Nursing License
- Current BLS certification
- Must comply with state background screening requirements
- Current negative TB skin test or negative chest x-ray
- 1 year of previous nursing experience required - Private Duty and/or Pediatric experience preferred.
